This Privacy Policy describes how BowlsPass, operated by Club Bayside, handles information collected through the BowlsPass application.
1. Who Can Use This App
BowlsPass is a private application accessible only to authorised members of Club Bayside. Access is provisioned by the club administrator via Azure Active Directory B2C.
2. Information We Collect
- Identity information – Your name and email address, provided via your Azure AD B2C account at sign-in.
- Device identifier – A unique identifier for the device you use to access the app.
- Score data – Bowl-by-bowl entries including game number, end number, bowl number, bowler position, effective score, and delivery tags (length / line).
- Timestamps – The date and time each entry is recorded on-device and received by the server.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To enable score recording and syncing across your devices.
- To associate score entries with your Club Bayside member account.
- To maintain game history and performance records for club use.
4. Data Storage
Score data is stored locally on your device using SQLite and synchronised to a secure Azure SQL Database hosted in the cloud. All data in transit is protected by HTTPS / TLS encryption.
5. Data Sharing
Your personal information and score data are not shared with any third parties. Data is accessible only to authorised Club Bayside administrators and the BowlsPass application.
6. Data Retention
Score data is retained for the duration of your club membership. You may request deletion of your data by contacting the club administrator.
7. Your Rights
As a Club Bayside member you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
